Atmosphere08 has been organised because we honestly believe that the UK kiting community NEEDS an event like this.
An event where all the major brands are represented.
An event where all kiters are welcome, regardless of what they fly, where they fly, or what insurance they hold.
An event where the total novice can fly alongside the best in the world.
No egos, No agendas , No limits - it's all about the Kiting!
Already established as one of the UK's best kiting beaches, Westward Ho! is a spectacular venue - surrounded on two sides by gentle, rolling, wooded hills, and backing onto a nature reserve and SSSI. Hard-packed golden sands, and gently-shelving beach are ideal for all land and water based kiting activities. Convenient parking behind the famous pebble ridge means that it's easy to reach the set-up areas.
The town of Westward Ho! provides all the amenities of a Devon seaside resort.
Around the Atmosphere08 Wind Village are a whole heap of caravans which we have negotiated at a special price - so a 6-berth van will cost you just £80 for the weekend - or in other words just £6.50ish each per night for a comfy crash-pad to recover from a day's kiting! Book early to make sure you don’t miss out.
Atmosphere08 is only £30 per person for the whole weekend.
This includes access to ALL events on the beach AND the Wind Village AND the evening entertainment. It also includes a goody-bag, which you will collect on arrival, containing, among other things, an exclusive event T-shirt and event arm-band
Family pass will be £90 for 2 adults and up to 3 children (please fill in registration documents on line but call 01179 087153 to pay )

CONFUSED.COM does the actuall event start on friday cos thats not a bank holiday?
and are people camping or getting one of the fatass caravans ?

well what will happen will be very simalar to wallop as well, we will all leave bout 2ish proboly on the friday to get there and get a camping spot i know im camping as im not paying £40 for a caravan for me but ye
so then we dont miss saterdays flying as thats will be the best flyin days i reckon and then we will fly all sunday too then fly for a bit monday and then go home if the weaters good thats is but yep yep thats what we are doing
